To achieve a glass-like, professional-grade finish on your custom matching red mixed resin scales:

1. Manage Grinding Friction: Resin cuts and shapes beautifully but can soften if exposed to extreme friction heat. Use fresh, sharp ceramic or silicon carbide belts on your sander and apply light to moderate pressure to keep the surface cool.

2. Prioritize Workshop Safety: Grinding and sawing composite resins produces a very fine dust. Always wear a high-quality respirator mask (N95 or P100), protective safety goggles, and work with an active dust collection setup.
